Short Simple

I am having trouble coming up with a topic to write on today. I know it sounds surprising that I would actually start writing with a topic in mind if you have notices how much my focus weaves in and out.

My father calls me Antisocial. I don’t think he quite gets how extreme the meaning of that word it. It isn’t something you are just because you don’t want to go to your cousins Open House.

My family also calls me shy, which I might be. I really don’t know. I had a horrible roommate last year that got on my back about being able to communicate in emails what I couldn’t in real life.

I don’t think he quite understood anything about me, which is easy to understand because I was suffering from Bipolar disorder and had no idea what was going on at the time.

I did a lot of embarrassing things, but he crossed the line very early on. Anyways, I don’t really want to talk about that. I was out of my mind and functioning. I was able to hold back the storm until the very last day of the school year, it was that day when I turned in my final project, and that very night I stayed up thinking demons were being pulled out of my head. The next day after a twisted path I was in the mental hospital.

P.S. Check out the link hidden in the picture, and read a bit of the dance contest. :)

The Temples Under the Mountain (with more added on)

Our young warrior came across the Mountain. The whole Mountain was craved into a giant temple for the Sun god that had been cast away in Egypt so long ago. The middle of the Mountain was in fact a great void; everything was craved out except for supports that looked like something between the Jewish Star of David with the weavings of a Celtic Cross around it. As the sun moved across the shy it would first leave a shadow on one side of the Mountain and then on the other. At the base of the Mountain on both sides were temples one for the morning, and another for the evening.

The warrior had been sent from Egypt as a spy to gather information on how to destroy the last of the followers of the Sun god who had fled chased by chariots of doom in the chaos of King Tut’s early reign. How they had obtained such symbolism and power over the Mountain was yet known, but the warrior wanted to see how the Mountain would fall.

A young monk ran barefoot across the stone road. He held a white rose in his hand, and a pole hang over his shoulder on which hang a little pouch filled with Starfish. A dog ran at his side biting at his foot as he ran off the road. He hopped to the top of a small hill to get a better look at a man coming down the road.

The monk laughed at how little the man was wearing, just linen clothe that barely covered anything. The man’s chest was bare and strong; his legs were like a tigers. In his hands was a rope, which he used to guide a travelers horse, which was packed full. At his side was a craved sword, and the man had an air about him that made the monk feel that only a fool would try to steal from this man.

A smile crept across the monks face as he realized that after leaving the Monastery of Jumping Cats, he just might be enough of a fool to try it. First he would have to gain trust, and see if the man had anything worth the risk.

“Sir, by Horus I beg you to assist me to getting into Upton, the Village at the top of the Mountain where great magic and riches await anyone who is brave enough to climb the mountain.” Said the monk leaping with the grace of a mountain ram onto the road. “I would go there myself, as I am used to mountain paths, but this mountain is filled with Birds of Aideen. I see you have a sword, and you walk like a warrior perhaps you could fight these Birds of Flame.” The warrior’s mouth thinned.

The monk continued, “My name is Nen. I am well trained in dealing with cats. If we were to run into a tiger I would have it jumping through hoops and catching dinner for us in not time. You do like fresh meat don’t you?” The warrior’s mouth tightened even more.

“There are great secrets up there. I have heard there is a book that tells you how to use the Stonehenge, your right I have no idea what the Stonehenge is, don’t you want to find out.” The warrior started to tend to his horse rubbing his nose while his eyes dug deeply into Nen’s.

“There is some sort of ship called an arc that you can see if you look really closely. It is made of wood, we people down here think, yet it never rots. It said that two of every kind of creature landed on that mountain, and some never left it.” The warrior started to check his horse’s teeth.

”Come on all the wonders of this world are on top of that mountain, and you will not even face the fire to go and see it. Do I smell or something?”

The warrior answered the monk, “You have no sandals.”

Topic? I am supposed to write on a topic?

I should be reading Harry Potter right now so I can finally complete the series, but I am not. I am barely into the book. It seems to me that Rowling is taking a long time to get to the action. I’m sure it will pick up soon. I, however, will continue, to your delight you by blabbing on and on about nothing.

I did start out with two goals in mind as are stated in my opening line. (Look at the Binder.) These are the goals that a how loosely danced around and then cast aside, because they are only two parts of who I am.

Who am I? I have a strong narrative voice. Can’t you hear it?

I can stand the heat very well apparently because I am outside cool and happy while the air conditioner is making the inside an ice box. It seem that ever since I went to Florida I’ve had a new definition of hot.

While in Florida, we walked past the Art Deco Beachside in Miami; we stopped at a Starbucks where I had a Green Tea Frap, my favorite Starbucks drink. My sister picked up some Postcards at a visitor center. She collects postcards. We all got a little sun. By all I mean my mother, three sisters, and me. My sister, if I haven’t told you before is a Flight Attendant, which is a much harder job than it sounds; just think of the hours on an overnight flight with babies crying, people drunk, and everything just miserable. Well my sister can handle that and more. She is a professional.

It is just beautiful weather out here and a view as good as anywhere. A deck were the paint is cracked, and a yard with two balls left there from a game. A cat is sleeping on the deck.

Yes, it is run down, but the trees are old as well, old and healthy. There is one of those Red Maple Trees (maybe its call Black Maple I forget) in front of me as the sunlight passes through it you can see a hint of green on the other side. Next to it at a good distance for growth is a normal green maple.

Sure its not the Mountains of Alaska or the Beaches of Florida, but it is quiet.

I like it here, but I still want the school year to come. I am getting nervous, maybe I told you this before, but it’s just the tip of the iceberg with a meatball on top. This year is going to be different from all the rest. It’s that Senor Project I keep on talking about. You know, I’ve talked about this with you before and yet I cannot get my words to match my worry. I want to do what I am doing now. I want to write my way through a topic until all the ends connect. I want to create a complex picture through words. I want to write until I know what to do.

Anime - off topic - back to Anime

It appears that today’s topic is Anime, of which I am an also an amateur, the only series I have watched from beginning to end are Inuyasha, D.C. Angel, and Paradise Kiss. My favorite of which being Paradise Kiss for its awesome opening and ending songs.

It was disappointing that last Inuyasha episode. It stopped somewhere that wasn’t an ending at all. Hopefully the series will start again soon. The only problem is that I am no longer the same person I was before. Before, I was so drawn into the story I had to watch episode after episode. I am not like that anymore. Now I prefer writing to reading, unless it is Tarot card reading.

I can still watch movies, because I am a very visual person, but when it comes to words I am in a phase of mixing them like brownie batter, rather then just buying then pre-made.

So here I write, and I know, or think I know, that no one has visited this site, or at least I have had no profile views, which is sad, because my old Blog Sulfur gave my Profile about 300 views, before I transferred everything over to my gmail account and wiped my slate clean. Believe it or not I used to have a name other then Pumpkin Seal, and a snappier profile.

Ah, those where the days. If you have looked at my other Blogs you would have noticed the different styles I have used. This style appears to work the least of them all. I, however, am not prepared to change it. I am not prepared to give up.

I started this post to talk about Anime, but you can see how well I focus. When it comes to D. C. Angel the subbed version is a lot better then the dubbed. I personally prefer subbed to dubbed.

The Ponderings of a Calm Medicated Mind

I am outside in the sun. There are trees all around me. There is an oak behind me that is hundreds of years old. If one branch should fall onto the roof it could cause serious damage, but the tree remains healthy. I am out here to get a little sun so my skin can work a little of… I forget which vitamin, but one thing is for sure sun in little bits is good for you. It is also good to listen to the wind blowing through the trees even if it is overpowered by the sound of the air conditioner.

I have concluded that I am still healthy. After my hospital stay, the doctors told my family that I was close to causing some serious damage, but as it is they never sat me down to talk about anything. I’m guessing this means that there was nothing worth noting.

I’m wonder that if I continue to watch Naruto will Sasuke sooner or later grow up? I wander what he would be like grown up? I’m guessing that he wouldn’t be that charming. He can get away with all his antisocial behavior, and violent behavior as a young ninja, (its understandable being a little off key when you have been taught to kill all your life) but if he turns out like his brother he just will not be likable anymore.

I am sure that after reading so much about Naruto you are rearing to go out and watch the series, do not be afraid, just because I stopped watching them doesn’t mean they are not good. I had other things on my mind at the time. Things like death. In fact it would have been good for me to keep watching the series, than when I was tired between classes I would have had something to do other then sleep.

It is pleasant writing out here in the sun. My computer is getting a little hot, and if I don’t keep a close eye on it, it might catch on fire. Mac’s have been known to do that.

Lets see my time outside is running out (battery life is low). Today is a good day. I woke up in good time, I think I have finally adapted to the sleepiness caused by my medication, I will however take an earlier bedtime for a while.

Ok, I have gone inside, and after walking a little over three miles I am back. You know that saying that you never forget how to ride a bike, well it’s a lie. I used to be able to ride and now I just fall over and twist my ankle. The longer I wait the more foolish I will look out in the road trying the best I can to remember the secrets. I guess it is good to give the neighbors a good laugh. The funny thing is that I learned quite easily the first time.

Sunday's post completed today

I am worried about my future. I am only on my parents insurance until I am 25, and after that I will be forced to maintain a steady job with insurance, or suffer the consequences. I just don’t want to be a burden to anyone, and the way thing are looking right now… I am already a burden.

I want a job, I would look for one online right now, but my parents have turned the Internet off.

I am afraid that taking all the aspirin hurt my organs because sometimes, not always, they get a very little sore. I don’t know if it is the consequences of my action or my medication. Who knows, who cares. I’m fine. I’m healthy enough to walk, run, sleep, etc.

I have a purring cat on my shoulder trying to overpower the computer. Yes, the wonderful thing about laptops is you can put a pillow under you head, and balance your computer on your tummy and legs. I do this because I do not have a chair in my room, and the chair in the main room is usually taken.

So I have a cat very slowly falling asleep on my shoulder.

I’ve been having dreams about Sasuke from Naruto. I never had this many dreams about any character in Inuyasha, and I used to think that no matter how much I wanted to have dreams about something I read or watched it would never happen, because it never did. I have had great control over my dreams lately, but I do not understand why I keep on fighting with Sasuke at my side. Naruto is sometimes there as well.

The thing is I haven’t watched this anime in a long time. I suppose that this dream is telling me that deep down inside I want to finish watching this series, but it so much fighting.

What would you do if you kept on having dreams where you are fighting beside an anime character? What would it mean?

In reality I don’t really care. I enjoy the dreams. I get to jump high, almost flying, and have super fighting powers that of course no one can match. I made it to Episode 168 (on youtube) before I gave up on the series that is not bad. I wonder how close I was until the end.

My brother gave me the Oracle of the Radiant Sun, a set of 82 cards that are totally different from Tarot cards. I used them to get more insight after an important Tarot reading. I am nearing the end of my time as an online Tarot reader. A short phase of my life is coming to an end. I do not know if I will pick up online readings again, but that is something I will leave the cards to decide.

A Tale of a Unicorn

I was out at Leila Arboretum today when I came across a two-legged unicorn. Where its first two legs normally were there was instead a pair of wings. Imagine the amount of wingspan was needed to lift up a horse. It is for this reason that unicorns are so much skinner then horses, and even than it was wondrous to gaze at that wingspan.

It stood on its two legs walking almost like a human. It was silvery white and glistened. It was like moonlight walking in the morning sun. I wasn’t quite sure that it could actually fly, but there is something a little magical about unicorns. I figured that if any horse could fly this would be it. Otherwise it would all be a lot of show for nothing.

It was one of those moments where you wish you had brought your camera, even if unicorns are overpopulating Michigan at the moment, I had never heard of a winged one. While most unicorns move with the speed and grace of a deer, this one was unsure of itself on the ground. Every now and then it would bind over onto all fours (wings used like legs) to get eat something off the ground. A number of times doing this it fell over wings flapping like penned up a chicken.

I stayed there waiting for it to fly. It got boring after a while and I started to watch the ants coming in and out of a mound on the ground. I found some clover and ate a bite. If potatoes are an Irish food what are clovers? I imagine there is no food more Irish. I heard once that its like catnip to The Leprechauns. The reason that I was able to find it on the ground at all (it sells like gold in the old country) is the laws against exporting it.

You see the government wants this country as far away from The Leprechauns as possible. Its specism it is. The world is afraid that because Leprechauns can make gold so they might destroy the economy, which is based on gold. It is therefore illegal for anyone to have any dealings with Ireland, which is the only place on this world where The Leprechauns are allowed to live.

Of course there are corks out there that grow clover and sneak it into Ireland, but I think you have heard enough about this topic. It is after all a horrible mark on the world. Lets talk about dandelions and butterflies instead. Dandelions make the very best ice cream, mixed with other lawn clippings of course.

Nothing smells quite like a fresh morning day other then Lawn Silk put it on and you will smell like dew on recently mowed grass.

Anyway, I am sure that you are wondering what has happened with the unicorn well I am wondering that too. You see… I don’t see it anymore. Somewhere between eating clover and rolling in the grass it disappeared. I’m sorry.
